If you don’t know who Steve Aoki is, shame on you. Owner/creator of indie label Dim Mak Records who house bands such as Bloc Party , The Kills,  and The Bloody Beetoroots, an extremely successful club promoter, world famous traveling DJ, clothing designer, Aoki is taking over the music scene, one spin at a time.

Aoki’s career began at UCSB where he was heavily involved in the local music scene; hosting sets in his living room for bands to come and play. Artists ranging from The Rapture to Jimmy Eat World came to Aoki’s sets and helped create an intimate venue for musicians and listeners alike. Thanks to these in-house parties, Aoki realized that his passion for music wasn’t your average fanaticism, and Dim Mak Records (Aoki’s own label) was born.

Be prepared for one of the wildest shows you’ll ever see at Metropolis, with tracks like “Turbulence” causing the bandwagon house fans and headbangers alike to go absolutely fucking crazy.
